It’s time…

One in three teenagers qualify for a clinical diagnosis of anxiety disorder. ONE IN THREE! Suicide is tragically now the leading cause of death among youth. Our national suicide hotline calls increased by 891% (CNN News) between the start of COVID Lockdown and July of 2020. Numbers continue to rise.

Meanwhile, we know that slow, controlled breathing helps people take agency over states of anxiety and depression, and improves access to resources from the whole brain to make better decisions about stress. But research on teens needs to be done to impress what works in the public schools to make a real difference.

Solution:

We have aligned with the Health and Human Performance Foundation (HHPF) to introduce a novel stress reduction curriculum combined with research to create evidence-backed programming for public schools. This program was piloted with amazing results in Girard Pennsylvania as published in early 2020. We are poised to do a larger study now in the Roaring Fork Valley but we need your help!

Your dollars will fund the research needed to scale and disseminate curriculum for teens rooted in tangible breath science. Kids get to participate in a real research study while learning a life-skill that creates better health outcomes for entire families.

Please visit our donation page to learn more and contribute, any amount will help us avoid delays. If we can finish raising the funds by January 15th 2021, we can implement this school year. Otherwise, we wait until next fall, which further delays the broader sharing of this curriculum for kids who needed it yesterday.

Thank you! Please share and help out if you can. You will make a huge difference in many lives!
